Blow off some STEAM in the Math Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The most dreaded question that math teachers get asked in the classroom is “when will we ever use this?” In this session, you will walk away with a minimum of 9 “STEAM” projects that are aligned with units of study in an Honors Algebra I , Algebra II or Precalculus course that answer this question. All projects can be modified to fit the needs of the course! Let’s turn our math classes into maker-spaces and our students into makers!

Through the use of google sites, teachers will discover STEAM projects catered towards Algebra I Honors, Algebra II and Pre-Calculus Curriculum.

Attendees will learn how to modify the site to fit the needs of their classroom. Attendees will also discuss and analyze the projects themselves to discover the hidden elements that require students to expand their competencies with multiple technologies and elements of google.

Event Reminders!
